“Go slow Daddy ” screamed Mary to her dad who was in front her having a ball doing ice skating. His face had an unusual glow like a child when he enters Disney land. Hearing Marys voice he slowed down to catch up with her. Hugging her John said “I am so happy spending time with you , Mary. Why didn’t i do this before ”
“Because you were busy running behind money, Dad. I tried reaching out to you so many times but your answer machine was the only one to speak ”
“I am sorry my child. Now that i don’t have time, i can see its value. Money is so irrelevant in front of time. I wish i knew this before.”
Mary hugged her dad tightly while tears rolling down her cheeks.
“Don’t say that Daddy. The doctor has said there is 10% chance you will be fine after the operation. I will pray with my heart and soul for that 10% , i know you will be fine and we will spend a lot more time together Daddy”
“Mary , promise me that you will value time more than money”
“I always valued time more ”
